Growatt SPE 12000 ES is the flagship model in Growatt’s SPE hybrid inverter series, delivering a powerful 12kW of single-phase AC output for residential systems with high energy demands — think large households, EV charging, or small commercial setups. It integrates a high-frequency pure sine wave inverter, an MPPT solar charge controller, and a UPS-grade backup function into a single unit, and can operate with or without a connected battery.
Equipped with two independent MPPT trackers and a wide voltage range (60–480VDC, up to 550VDC max), the SPE 12000 ES accepts up to 15,000W of PV input, making it easy to design around different roof orientations while maximizing solar harvest. Peak conversion efficiency reaches 96.5%, with a European efficiency rating of 95.5%, so more of the energy your panels generate actually reaches your loads or battery.
Built for scalability, up to 9 units can be connected in parallel to expand system capacity as energy needs grow. The inverter is compatible with 48V lithium-ion, lead-acid, and GEL batteries, supports time-of-use optimization and peak shaving, and switches to backup power in under 20ms during a grid outage — keeping critical loads running without interruption. A built-in automatic transfer switch (ATS) allows seamless integration with a generator or utility grid.
Remote monitoring is available via WiFi or 4G through the ShinePhone app and Growatt’s monitoring platforms, while the PVkeeper interface simplifies local commissioning for installers.
