Description

Montel tablets 10mg contain Montelukast 10 mg, a prescription leukotriene receptor antagonist indicated for asthma prevention, exercise‑induced bronchoconstriction, and relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis (hay fever). By blocking cysteinyl leukotrienes, it reduces airway inflammation and helps control allergy symptoms such as sneezing and runny nose. The usual dosage for adults and adolescents aged 15 years and older is one 10 mg tablet taken once daily in the evening. For exercise‑induced asthma, the tablet should be taken at least 2 hours before exercise. Montelukast is not a rescue medicine for acute asthma attacks; a medicated inhaler should always be carried.
